Weekend Extravaganza!

Annika had a pretty full day for a Saturday. She woke up this morning and had a chocolate chip muffin and apple juice. Then we went to McDonald's for a hashbrown on our way to the Steam Show at Sunset Hill Farms. Look at all the tractors we saw! Thanks for coming with Grandma Jeep!

Annika went on a Hay Ride with Kim, Addie's babysitter!

And Grandma bought her a cowboy hat!!

After the steam show, and after Bo played in his game, we had Bo and Sam over for a playdate! This is how two children play firemen! Note: Firemen do use hoses to put out the fire so getting wet is inevitable is the only conclusion I have for their outfits!! Yes those are swim caps and goggles!!

TGIF!!

Tonight, Annika is kicking off her weekend by going out to dinner with her dad. A little posing in coordinated Bears garb sounded like fun too.

Do poles come with those skis?

I got my first ever pair of Crocs Saturday at the Croc store at Lighthouse Place Mall Saturday. Annika wanted to try them on. What do you think?

Second week of school.

Pretty much the same as the first week, just with more homework. Oh, and missing a day of class already. Tonsilitis, YUCK! She got to spend the day with Grandma Jeep, which from what I hear was more fun than school.

First week of school.

Annika was excited to go back to school. 3RD GRADE!! Immanuel instituted a dress code this year. Polo shirts only(and pants or skirts, of course). Any store, any brand, even with logos, as long as it's a polo with a collar and sleeves. This makes picking out clothes in the morning much easier. She has the same kids in her class from last year, no one left, no one new. It seemed to us to be a pretty uneventful week. "Annika, how was school today?" "Fine." "Did you learn anything new or fun?" "Not really." "How was lunch, anything good?" "I don"t remember." Multiply this by 4, and that was the first week.

Workin' at the carwash, whoa, whoa whoa!
