Lost, but not forgotten

I broke out the film camera while we were away, and when I had the film developed I found a couple of cute shots of the girls.

Annika decided it was time to leave the princesses behind and move on to bigger and better things. 12 hours, 2 gallons, and 5 coats later here it is.

Cousins

Annika has had the good luck of seeing a lot of her cousins this summer. Mstly Bo and Lily, but also Alyssa and Brandy, my nieces form Wisconsin. Here's a few pics to enjoy.

Porter County Fair

We had our trip to the fair on Friday. We went with Ty and Lily. It was so hot, but the girls had fun riding rides. They went on the Farris Wheel, The Gravitron, The Himilaya, and The Haunted House ride along with the usual kid rides there. Ty went on the Big kid rids with the girls. What a sport!

Camp Lutherhaven!

Annika is at camp until Tuesday night! We dropped her off yesterday. She didn't even say bye when it was time for the parents to leave. Let's just say she looked like she was going to have a blast!

Annika went to the annual fireman picnic at Kirchoff Park the other day. She had a blast on all of the equipment and with the firefighters.

Being smarter than the camera!

I finally figured out that I was just not being smarter than the camera. Here is a video of Annika diving at her grandma's pool.

Annika is currently taking swimming lessons at VHS. Mom wanted a picture of Annika on the diving board, but patience is not a strong point of Annika's, so we have a pre and a post diving board picture. I think this may be the first time she didn't want ham it up for the camera. : )

Here are some pictures of Annika's first good swim this summer. Her last attempt reminded me of the Polar Bear Club, who takes their annual dip in icy waters, just to say they did it. Bo was enjoying the fairer waters too.
